Project Resource Development Geologist

An emerging gold and base metals developer, with a commanding ground holding in the world class exploration Paterson Province, is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Project Resource Definition Geologist to join their resource development team. With a number of highly significant mining houses farming in to JV’s, as well as having a considerable 100% owned resource base underpinning feasibility studies, they are fully funded and have genuine prospects to become a mine operator via their own standalone projects or via their JV arrangements.  

The position
Reporting into the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resource definition activities, including management of resource definition drilling programs
• Providing geological interpretations and 3D modelling for resource definition
• Development and ranking of resource definition drilling targets. 

About you
The successful individual will have previous experience in successful resource development and definition activities, or near mine exploration activities including management of drilling programs. 

Key requirements include:
 

• Ideally between 3 to 8 years' experience with ideally 2 years gold experience
• Proven ability in resource definition and managing a broad range of exploration activities
• Proficient in using Suprac, Micromine or Leapfrog software
• Good oral and written skills, in both presentation and technical writing. 

This role is offered on a permanent basis, FIFO from Perth on either a 15/13 or 12/9 roster.
