Mine Planning Superintendent

Our client: 

Seeking a Mine Planning Superintendent to help drive a strategic growth strategy to leverage the company to a mid-tier gold producer. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Principal Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the short-, medium- and long-term plans are implemented to optimise life of mine and meet budgets and plans. 

  • Ensure Safety Management and Environmental Management Plans are maintained to standards in line with safe work and regulatory compliance 

  • Provide technical contributions to feasibility studies for any new resources or extensions of existing 

  • Liaise with site mining engineers and guide the standardisation of multi-site processes 

  • Assist financial reporting process for multiple projects and LOM 

  • Develop technical reporting systems to measure operational efficiency 

  • Communicate and oversee the long-term planning process to all relevant stakeholders 

About you: 

To support forecasted growth and expansion this role will be based in Perth with site visits as required. The role is suited to a highly experienced, qualified, and strategic Mine Planning Superintendent.  

  • Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering 

  • Astute experience in mine design, planning and scheduling 

  • Competent in mine planning software – Deswik preferred
