Our client is a privately owned and funded company who have acquired the global and exclusive rights to commercialise a world leading leaching technology. On their behalf we are seeking the services of an experienced business development professional for a newly created position in their Perth office.
Reporting to the Managing Director this position will oversee the marketing and business development function for the Australasian region and engage with other team members to support global opportunities.
To achieve this, you will;
- Oversee the marketing planning and activities.
- Identify target clients and opportunities.
- Co-ordinate test work and piloting proposals.
- Co-ordinate responses to queries.
- Final review and issue of reports.
- Facilitate follow-on work programs.
- Co-ordinate weekly sales meetings.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting of activities.
Ideally you will have extensive experience in business development and marketing systems combined with a sound understanding of mineral processing and/or chemistry. Qualifications in Chemistry or Metallurgy will be highly regarded but not essential.
