Senior Planning Engineer
Our Client
An ASX listed global international gold producer seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for one of their most significant underground operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent this role is responsible for leading the planning team to deliver upon company production and cost objectives and optimise the LOM.
Key responsibilities
About you
This role is suited to a highly skilled Mine Planning Engineer with extensive experience in underground operations.
Unfortunately, Mining People International are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor engineering designs and plans to ensure all safety requirements are adhered to.
- Effective communication with all relevant stakeholders and departments
- Contribute to the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Undertake all planning activities incorporating medium- and long-term requirements
About you
This role is suited to a highly skilled Mine Planning Engineer with extensive experience in underground operations.
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- Proficient user of Deswik CAD- Scheduler
- WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate (desirable)
