Production Engineer
Our Client
A highly successful ASX listed Australian gold producer with established operations in W.A is seeking a Production Engineer to play a key role in the development of this new asset.
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer this person will be mentored for further responsibilities and development to include technical services.
The role

Development and implementation of drill and blast designs

Develop, maintain and update short term plans and schedules

Take on the statutory responsibility of Ventilation Officer, ensuring compliance with mine ventilation requirements

Work with the Underground contractor to implement the mine plan
About you
You are a safety minded mining professional with a strong work ethic that can apply critical thinking whilst adhering to timelines.

Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline

Previous experience in narrow vein underground gold mining

Astute software skills Microsoft Office and Deswik Suite
Offered on an 8/6 roster FIFO Perth together with an attractive remuneration package, this is an exciting time to join a mid-tier producer at the start of a project.
