General Manager / Team Leader - Professional Technical

  • Opportunity to join an industry leader
  • Business unit management opportunity
  • Take control of your career and earnings

Mining People International (MPi) has become one of the most reputable names in mining and resources recruitment, with a portfolio of high-profile clients whom we’ve helped build successful management and executive leadership teams for over 27 years. Our success comes largely from the disciplined execution of a carefully considered and rigorously tested market strategy, one which has delivered consistent and sustained results over many years. Part of that strategy has been the successful recruitment and long-term retention of high-quality recruitment consulting staff at all levels of the business.

As a result of our continued growth we are now looking to appoint a GM / Team Leader for our Professional technical team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruitment at a senior level including the leadership of a team of technical specialists and preferably (but not essentially) have an in-depth knowledge of the Australian mining and resources industry. You will have the desire and ability to drive the business unit and contribute to developing and executing the business plan as well as having P&L responsibility for this part of MPi’s business.
If you are motivated by delivering high quality work, have a passion for success, a willingness to set goals and stretch yourself personally and professionally and have a good communication style with a sense of humour, then we are very keen to speak with you.

This opportunity represents the chance to join a well respected industry leader. We offer a competitive base remuneration package, plus an attractive personal performance incentive, as well as significant longer term career development opportunities, aligned to our growth strategy.

If you agree that this role represents a rare opportunity and is what you are looking for, please submit your application or if you prefer you can request a confidential discussion.
