Alternate Underground Mine Manager

  • 12/9 Roster
  • FIFO Broome or Perth
  • 7-10 years experience working in an underground enviroment
  • 3 + years working within an gold enviroment
  • Broad Mining Experience (Mechanized and airleg)
  • Experience in narrow vein gold environment
  • Experienced mine scheduling (EPS preferred)
  • First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency

Our Client is an Australian Gold Producer with its site based in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia with an initial seven year LOM. The site produces to date 200,00 ounces of gold. 

The Kimberly project provides our client with a platform for growth through the operation of its first producing gold asset, which includes underground and open pit mines, and a modern CIP processing facility. On their behalf, MPI is recruiting for an  Alternate Underground Mine Manager. Reporting to the Mine Manager, the right candidate must be experienced in mine design using Datamine and Surpac, underground stope planning for airleg and longhole stopes. Daily coordination with mine foreman, monthly mining forecasts, approval and risk assessment processes.
