This world leading technology is designed to give mining professionals geological certainty to confidently target, map, monitor and unlock mineral deposits and other subsurface anomalies.
On behalf of Ideon Technologies we are seeking the services of an experienced Business Development Executive for a newly created position in Perth.
Reporting to the Vice President – Business Development this position will provide consultative and strategic advice to new and existing clients, while expanding the company’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific region as well as engaging with other team members to support global opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Perfect and implement market strategy for the Australia and Asia-Pacific region.
- Execute opportunity and retention plans for key accounts.
- Work with clients to understand challenges and provide solutions.
- Provide insight into product development.
- Effectively manage engagement at all levels across the client organisation.
- Serve as primary contact in the region.
About you
- Tertiary qualified in Business or Commerce, or equivalent knowledge through practical experience, further experience in Geosciences or Mining Engineering is highly desirable.
- Five + years working within the mining sector directly or in a supporting discipline and in a strategic business development B2B role with a technology focus.
- Demonstrated ability to close large scale deals>$1M+ with astute communication and interpersonal skills.
