Technical Services Superintendent

Our client, an international mining company with global interests , has operations over 3 continents.  On their behalf, we seek to appoint an appropriately experienced Technical Services Superintendent to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of their flagship Australian, multi - mine operation, consisting of both open pit and underground mines.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Production and Planning Engineering Departments, playing a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing mine planning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of gold resources. You will contribute to organisational success by delivering an optimal production profile from underground and open pit mining operations through pragmatic, effective, and collaborative mine planning covering short-term (implementation) through to Life of Mine (LOM). 

As a degree qualified Mining Engineer, you will have an extensive background in underground mining, across a wide range of mining methods.  Open pit mining experience is desirable, but not essential.  You will have demonstrable leadership skills that has supported you effectively lead a diverse multidisciplinary team.  You will similarly have strong technical skills and be highly capable and proficient in mine planning and scheduling software. 

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off, 4 days on 3 days off roster, as either a residential within the local community or fly in fly out from Perth.  Together with exceptional career options within the business, you will enjoy a significant salary and benefits package that rewards genuine achievement.
