MPI are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Exploration Manager to join this Lithium Explorer. Reporting to the CEO, the Exploration Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the exploration efforts from inception to discovery. You will lead a dynamic team of geologists and technicians and will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing Greenfields exploration across multiple tenement sites. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of the company.
The Role:
- Develop and execute comprehensive exploration strategies for Greenfields projects, ensuring alignment with a commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Provide consultative due diligence on project generation and asset acquisition.
- Lead and inspire a talented team of geologists, field specialists and drilling contractors. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Oversee all aspects of exploration projects from conception to execution. Drive efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Apply your deep technical knowledge in geology to identify and evaluate exploration targets. Utilize the latest technologies to enhance exploration success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Ensure exploration activities are conducted responsibly and ethically.
- Evaluate and mitigate exploration risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum or 8 years of experience working in Geology based role
- Proven experience in Exploration Management, preferably in a Greenfields environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful exploration teams.
- In-depth technical knowledge and proficiency in exploration software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
