Mechanical Project Engineer

Our client is a leading world gold company with world class assets producing gold, copper, silver, zinc, and lead, both within Australia and internationally. 

Due to a large number of capital projects at one of their Australian operations, an Electrical Project Engineer and Mechanical Project Engineer are required to provide technical advice and input for these projects. 

Key responsibilities of the role include: 

• Develop scope documents for the execution of works 
• Assist with the development and review of relevant project documentation 
• Manage relevant quality documentation 
• Review drawings, data sheet, scopes, and specifications 
• Contractor and material delivery assistance 
• Provide input into the owner’s team structure and budget 

To be successful you must have postgraduate experience, preferably mining or mineral processing related, with experience in construction & execution of projects.  Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are also required.  A manual drivers license is essential. 

The position offers a negotiable FIFO roster from Darwin, Perth or Brisbane with competitive remuneration.
