Paste Crew Operator

MPI are currently looking for some Paste Crew Operators to join one of our clients based in Kalgoorlie. As part of the Paste Crew, you will be responsible for safely running pipes underground and working alongside the team to deliver results safely and efficiently.

Duties of the role:
  • Strong knowledge of underground practices. 
  • Construction of paste walls/ventilation and underground infrastructure. 
  • Installation and removal of steel paste pipes. 
  • Hand installation and grouting of cable bolts.
  • A strong focus on safety and identifying hazards. 
  • Assisting other underground roles as required maintenance, installation, repair of air, water and ventilation services.
About you:
  • Must be a permanent resident in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
  • Hold a valid C-Class Driver's License. 
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • The ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical. 
  • Previous 12+ months' experience underground is essential.
  • Ability to be in a team whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping. 
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
