Exploration Geologist

  • Flexible FIFO roster 8/6, 12/9 or 16/12.

MPI have partnered with a rapidly growing exploration and mining company, discovering, and developing their gold projects and tenements in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. Supported by existing cashflow of operations and an increasing production profile, they are rapidly growing their resources and reserves through an exciting mixture of Greenfields and brownfield exploration.

We are currently seeking an Exploration Geologist to join this team. Reporting into a dynamic executive management team, with proven discoveries to their name and demonstrated development of other prominent WA gold operations.

Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Drill rig supervision and management. 
  • Geological logging of core and data management. 
  • Reporting on drill programs with timely and accurate collation of geological data. 
  • Assist and support other site activities as required.
To be successful, you must have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology. 
  • 3+ years of experience in exploration, particularly gold. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment. 
  • C Class manual WA driver’s license. 
  • Able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
